restraining device for small rodents - ecgTUNNEL is the name of our restraining device for obtaining ecg signals from conscious non-anesthetized rodents.

Different sized tunnels are available for newborn to adult mice, rats or hamsters.

While the animal is restrained firmly and gently, the four electrode pads at the base measure the biopotentials for 6-lead ecg.

The ecgTUNNEL integrates into wired or wireless setups:

In a wire setup, it is used in combination with:

• emkaPACK configured to acquire 1-lead or 6-lead ecg
• receiver mainframe containing 1-lead or 6-lead amplifier module in addition to power module
• interface box
• acquisition card installed on PC

In a wireless setup, it is used in combination with:

• receiver mainframe containing 1-lead or 6-lead amplifier module in addition to power module
• interface box
• acquisition card installed on PC

iox software may be used for acquisition and real-time ecg analysis. For more advanced ecg analysis, based on shape-based recognition, use ecgAUTO software.
