implantable telemetry - for the acquisition of data from freely moving animals using implanted transmitters.

emka TECHNOLOGIES supplies telemetry implants from Telemetry Research for use in small or large animals (200g upwards):

Different implant models acquire and transmit different combinations of signals, such as:

  • 2 ecg signals
  • ecg + other biopotentials (emg, eeg or sympathetic nerve activity)
  • ecg and pressure (e.g. blood pressure)

Transmission range is up to 5m.

The ecg signal is sampled at 2 kHz and has an input range of ±2 mV (gain customisable to ±250 μV).

The implant is supplied with all you need to get up and running (video of surgical procedure, electrodes, receivers, charging device).

The hardware runs with iox acquisition software and ecgAUTO analysis software.
